RAVEN HAWTHORNE |
| As the son of two
witches in the Quorum of Elders, Raven Hawthorne had considerable
power from birth. As he grew older, he discovered his skill to
commune with scathe demons in the world beyond. His parents forbade
him from using the ability, but their reprimand did little to sway
him. As he pursued his fascination with demonology, he became feared
and persecuted among his kind. Before he could be put on trial by the Quorum, he found an escape through a chance meeting with the mysterious nomad Amun. They became inseparable, and ultimately, Amun sired Raven into a bloodfiend. This proved to be a horrific mistake as Raven, knowing he now had eternal life, became obsessed with shaping the world to his liking through black magic. As an abhorrent fusion of both witch and bloodfiend, he was hunted down with fierce tenacity and forced into hiding. For nearly eighty years he silently waited until finally emerging again in Louisiana in 1717 AD. It was there he discovered the young Victoria DeLorme and began his quest to change her destiny. |
